Halloween at Disneyland Paris 2026 Ultimate Guide: What's On, Dates & Tips

It’s officially Halloween 2026 at Disneyland Paris, the spookiest season of the year at the most beautiful Disney park.

The Halloween Festival at Disneyland Paris brings lots of seasonal exclusives such as merchandise, decorations, character meets, food, parades, theming and even a sweet trail activity.

When is Halloween at Disneyland Paris 2026?

Halloween at Disneyland Paris takes place from 26 September to 1 November and is called ‘Halloween Festival at Disneyland Paris’. The park hours across the Halloween period are:

  • October 1: 9.30am - 10pm

  • October 2: 9.30am - 9pm

  • October 3 - 4: 9am - 10pm

  • October 5 - 18: Mostly 9.30am - 10pm (weekends: 9am - 10pm)

  • October 19 - 30: 9am  - 10pm every day

  • October 31 (Halloween): 9am – 11pm

Do You Need a Separate Ticket? The Big Difference vs America

The approach to Halloween at Disneyland Paris differs from the Magic Kingdom at Disney World. The Halloween festivities are included in your regular ticket at Disneyland Paris, whereas in Disney World the Halloween events, character meets, and parades are a separately ticketed event.

As Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is a separately ticketed event, it does also feature the Boo to You Parade, rarer character meets, party-exclusive merch and ride overlays for Mad Hatter Tea Cups and a fully pitched black Space Mountain with spooky music.

For comparison, Disneyland Paris does not go as all-out due to it not being a separately ticketed event. However, to celebrate the Halloween season in a Disney Park, it is a much more accessible and affordable option included in your park ticket with a great atmosphere and no reduced park hours.

The Halloween Decorations at Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris features brand new Halloween decorations this year. This includes a new purple sign at the entrance, glass portraits of iconic Disney villains and new pumpkins at the entrance of Main Street.

Further down Main Street this year, it is worth noting a disappointing change. The garlands and additional pumpkin decor have been removed from the buildings and bandstand. This change was made to accommodate the improved projections, which are an amazing addition but only add to the atmosphere at night. We do hope Disneyland Paris considers bringing these back next year so the Spooky atmosphere extends beyond the entrance of the park.

We will emphasise, though, that the new projections are AMAZING at night; this is when the park comes to life, and there are intermittent shows throughout. If you’ve visited at Christmas before, it will differ in the approach.

On the subject of Christmas, you can check out our full 2026 Christmas guide on our channel now:

A little further on from Main Street USA, you can turn left into Frontier Land, which features numerous Halloween decorations and theming. First, the Lucky Nugget has been renamed the Unlucky Nugget, with a Halloween makeover inside and out. A little further on, their Day of the Dead decorations are inspired by the Encanto movie near Big Thunder Mountain.

Frontierland also comes alive at night with green lanterns glowing by the shops.

M&M Sweet Trail Around Disneyland Paris

Did you know there’s a sweet trail around Disneyland Paris? Simply visit the Boardwalk Candy Palace and you can receive an activity map from a cast member. In this map, there will be 6 marked locations across all the lands, with riddles indicating where to find the location of different coloured M&Ms You visit these locations and then note the colour with a sticker on your map.

Once you’ve discovered all 6 colours, return with the map to the Candy Palace and they’ll stamp it and give every person a small bag of M&Ms each.

This was a really fun activity that will take roughly 30-60 minutes if you’re not stopping to ride. We’d highly recommend it, It's fun for everyone.

Mickey's Halloween Celebration - Parade and Show

Mickey’s Halloween Parade at Disneyland Paris begins at the bottom of Main Street USA, progressing through the square where a Cavalcade show takes place with dancing characters and fireworks as it meets the grand finale.

The parade itself is themed closer to Autumn Harvest than traditional Halloween. It features floats such as Winnie the Pooh and friends amongst pumpkins, Minnie on her sunflower float and Mickey atop the Haunted Mansion with Chip and Dale. As well as many dancers and other characters such as Goofy in his farming gear.

At the end of the show many of the characters such as Micky leaves his float to join the dancers at the centre stages dancing to the parade music as it reaches the penultimate climax.

Villains & Characters: Where to Meet Them

Exclusive Character meets are a key part of the Halloween season, with numerous villains and mischievous versions of Disney Characters throughout the park. We’ll share a map of where all the character meets are.

To the right of the Disney Castle, there’s a villainous stage and often villains such as Maleficent or the Evil Queen roam the area. On our last trip, we met the Evil Queen by this area and also saw Cruella over in Fantasy Land engaging with guests.

Rides That Feel Different at Halloween

Frontierland is the place to be, taking a ride at night on Big Thunder Mountain really adds to the atmosphere and then heading over to Haunted Mansion as you pass the Unlucky Nugget really adds to the spooky season.

Halloween Food & Snacks

There are plenty of spooky snacks in Disneyland Park, from main meals to sweet treats. On our last trip, we checked out a few of the spooky food spots, including:

  1. The Pinocchio Themed Restaurant; here you could get the Wicked Crunch Burger Meal for €22, which featured a breaded chicken fillet, smoky bacon, pepper sauce (mild chili), chorizo, and Doritos Sweet Chilli Pepper chips for crunch, all embossed with a spider web atop the bun. This meal deal also came with a drink, fries, and a pumpkin-themed sweet treat: a crunchy shell with a cream filling and a chocolate centre shaped like a pumpkin.

  2. Market House Deli; Features items like the Devilish Brookie (€5.50), The Pumpkin King Pastry (€6.00), and Mickey's Halloween doughnut (€6.00). We opted for the Mickey’s Halloween Doughnut with our Croque Monsieur. This was essentially a chocolate-filled doughnut with icing on top.

  3. Unlucky Nugget; the Lucky Nugget was rethemed with a full Halloween Menu priced at €30 per meal and is a half sit-down/ half quick service restaurant. The meals are either Haunted Nuggets, Burger of the Manor or Nupital Doom Burger. Alternatively, if you go between 3pm - 5pm you can get the sweet break, which is a drink and a slice of the haunted wedding cake for €12.

  4. Victoria's Home-Style Restaurant; Hades' Underworld Cake: €7.50, Cocoa sponge block featuring blackcurrant and blueberry mousse and Ursula's Curse Cake: €20.00, A larger shareable themed cake.

Halloween Merchandise

There are 3 key locations you’ll find Halloween Merchandise at Disneyland Paris, these are at World of Disney, Disney Village and over in Disneyland Paris Parc, Lillys Boutique and Thunder Mesa Mercantile Building. The Frontierland shop features the largest variety of items, including a villains fleece, black and white Halloween-themed zip-up hoodie, light-up pumpkin shoulder pal, Maleficent ears, Halloween T-Shirt and sweatshirt, and many other homeware items.

We would note there appeared to be significantly more Christmas Merchandise available at Halloween than actual Halloween merchandise. It’s expected over the course of October more Halloween pins will be made available at the parks.

Crowds, Weather & What to Pack

The weather massively differs across the Halloween season; we visited the opening week and our first day was 27 degrees and blistering sun, followed by rain and 22-degree weather the next day. The further you get into December, the cooler it will be, with potentially mid-teens in the day and around 9-degree lows.

We recommend packing ponchos and layers so you can cool down and warm up throughout the day. In addition to all these, we’ll always recommend comfy shoes, trousers and ensuring you have essentials such as water bottles, plasters and medication you may need for your trip as you’ll be doing lots of walking - we averaged 25k steps a day on our last trip.

Is Halloween Worth It?

If you’ve never been before or love the Halloween Season, we definitely recommend going. The weather is also perfect at this time of year for walking around theme parks all day and soaking up the atmosphere.

However, if you were choosing between Halloween or Christmas, we’d recommend visiting at Christmas. Purely because they go more all out, with even more addition for World of Frozen this year. You can check out our full guide for Chirstmas now.

We would still recommend visiting at Halloween, it’s great atmosphere, lots of spooky treats and is a great way to get into the spooky spirit early on.
